This notice explains how The Black Cats Studio, operated by Sathvik Divakar in Tamil Nadu, India, handles information collected through this platform. It supports our responsibilities under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; it is not a claim of independent legal certification.
What we collect
The scoping form collects your name, organisation, email, selected package, content readiness, desired start horizon and project notes. If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we may retain your contact details and relevant meeting notes. Private client records may also include GSTIN, contracts, invoices and payment references. We do not request your UPI PIN, card credentials or banking passwords.
Why we use it
We process enquiry details to understand your requirements, reply directly, prepare a private architectural proposal and administer an agreed project or contract. Information is not sold, rented or used for multi-tenant advertising. We do not use client briefs to train a shared advertising or AI model.
Who can access it
The studio's authenticated operator has access to the private workspace. Infrastructure providers process data only as required to host the service. Email, WhatsApp, your bank or UPI provider process messages or payments when you choose those channels under their own terms. Quotes and notes are not sent automatically by this platform.
Storage and retention
Records are retained only as needed for the enquiry, project, contractual obligations and legally required accounting retention. We review inactive enquiries and delete or de-identify them when no longer needed. Backups follow the same access and retention controls.
Cookies and security
Public scoping does not require an account. The private desk keeps a necessary sign-in session in your browser. Rate limiting uses short-lived network identifiers, without advertising tracking. Fonts and QR generation are local; bank details are not sent to an external QR service. We use access controls and backup procedures, but no online service can promise absolute security or zero loss.
Your choices and requests
You can request access, correction, erasure or withdrawal of consent for enquiry processing by contacting Sathvik directly. Withdrawal may prevent us from preparing a quote; legally required records may still need to be retained. We may ask for proportionate verification before acting on a request. You may raise a grievance about our handling of your data through the same contact.
Children and institutional data
This enquiry form is for authorised adult representatives. Do not upload student records, medical histories, identity documents or other sensitive personal data into free-text briefs. Projects involving children or institutional datasets need a separately agreed lawful basis, safeguards and permissions before transfer.
Client sovereignty
Clients retain ownership of their institutional data and commissioned deliverables under the agreed contract. We support export without client-data lock-in. The operator can download backups from the private desk. Any cross-border processing or additional processors for a client project must be addressed in that project's agreement.
